Report a price you paid
One report gives your city a real, dated price signal. It takes under a minute.
Please note: submissions are reviewed before anything is published. The rules below are exactly how reports are handled.
The rules for reports
- Reports are labelled unconfirmed until verified. A submitted price publishes in the user-reported tier, marked “reported by a visitor, unconfirmed.” It is never presented as a verified price.
- Verification means a source check — the price is confirmed against a retailer page, an established dated tracker, or a direct check — and only then promoted to the verified tier with its source and date.
- Report what you actually paid, per gallon, on the date you visited. If the station charged a flat fill fee instead of a per-gallon price, say so in the note rather than converting it yourself.
- Old reports age out on the same schedule as everything else: visually aged after 30 days, demoted to “last reported” after 90 days.
- Reports may be edited for clarity or removed if they cannot be tied to a real station and city. No personal information is published with a report.
